GO RACING IN YORKSHIRE SUMMER FESTIVAL 2008

To celebrate all that’s good about racing in the county, ‘Go Racing In Yorkshire’
is organising a special Summer Festival in 2008, highlighting the meetings
between
19th and 27th July.
There will be special promotions and competitions for racegoers visiting the
race
meetings during the Festival.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATIONThe Racecourse Areas Entry is split into Enclosures that have varying facilities,
dress codes and levels of viewing. Top of the range is the Premier Enclosure,
sometimes called Members, Club or County Stand. The Grandstand & Paddock,
traditionally known as Tattersalls, is at the heart of the action, while the least
expensive and least formal area is the Course Enclosure.
The Prices vary depending on the day you wish to attend and the enclosure
you would like to enter. Remember accompanied Under 16s are free.Start TimesThe first and last race times vary depending on the time of year and whether
it’s a day or evening fixture. A typical summer afternoon would start around
2.00 pm. Remember, the fun starts well before the scheduled first race so
arrive early so you can have a spot of lunch, settle in and enjoy the day.ParkingThere’s ample parking on site at all the racecourses and on most days it’s free.
